I have no knowledge of him being a boat builder, I don't have much on his early life, I still have not found how and where he came into Australia but after his marriage to Emma Harris in Sydney, three of their eldest children were born at Armidale, then the rest in Marrickville, he was on the first Burwood council and became a prominent resident in the Burwood - Concord area, he purchased a lot of William Wentworth's Estate. His only sister Louisa is buried with him at Rookwood Cemetery -----Original Message----- From: aus-nsw-hunter-valley-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-nsw-hunter-valley-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of MargaretB Sent: Tuesday, 20 March 2007 8:28 PM To: aus-nsw-hunter-valley@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [HV] Charles Henry HUMPHREY Hi Liz Was your Charles Humphrey a boat builder?
