Hi Victor, Albert [or Herbert as he was born] is my Great Grand Uncle on the Harman side. Here is a copy of some notes I have on him and a transcript of his Death certificate Albert's home at Oswald was 'Riverview' which was rebuilt by him uphill in 1904-06 following the destruction of the original home after being washed away in the 1895 flood. Lived in by his son Hamilton until 1966 when it was sold out of the family. Copy of the Death Entry registered as # 243 at West Maitland on 30 October, 1939 by C D DEWHAM, District Registrar held which records the death of Albert HARMAN on 27 October, 1939 at The Maitland Hospital, West Maitland Municipality, late of Oswald, Lochinvar, Kearsley Shire, aged 79, a Retired Farmer, born in Oswald, Lochinvar, NSW. Certifying Medical Attendant Dr P M SOLLING [Registered] who last saw him on 27 October, 1939. Father Walter HARMAN, Farmer and Mother Charlotte née ASHTON. Informant H C HARMAN, son of Oswald, Lochinvar. Methodist Funeral Service conducted 29 October, 1939 by Rev David McLOUGHLIN followed by burial at the Methodist Cemetery, Oswald. Witnesses O J CLARKE and I B YORK. Undertaker Henry H FRY of the firm of Fry Bros.. He was married at Bishop's Bridge, NSW to Elizabeth WHEATLEY at the age of 22 years. Children of the marriage Hamilton C 56 years, Ernest A 50, Hilda M 48, Mabel J 45, Harold C 35 living and two males and one female deceased. The following Obituary was published in the Maitland Mercury on Saturday, 28 October, 1939: MR A HARMAN DEATH OF OSWALD RESIDENT -etc etc I have a lot of data on the family which I would be delighted to exchange with you off list.
