    2. Hello Louise I must admit I have been a "lurker" for a while and enjoy reading the posts. I am relatively new to this wonderful hobby or should I say addiction and interested in the name Henry REEVES around 1847/1848 who owned or was the licensee of the Fitzroy Hotel High Street Maitland and later the Albion Inn - maybe listed in your item 3 Hunter Valley Inns and Innkeepers. Thank you. 3. Hi Sue, Your Henry REEVES is mentioned as follows: "Some former convicts proved to be amazingly successful in their innkeeping activities and went on to expand their business interests into other areas and to become prosperous. Notable among these were Henry Reeves of Maitland and John Smith of Newcastle".
