Hi I'm doing research into Herbert BRINDLE who was born in Muswellbrook in 1889 to Evan Brindle and Mary Hindmarsh. Herbert married firstly Cecelia SMITH in 1910 in Muswellbrook. Cecelia died in 1920. This couple had one son Arthur James BRINDLE born 10 Dec 1916, who served in WW2. Arthur married Edna AYRTON in 1944 in Cessnock. I found an Edna Brindle who died in Oct 1994 (a notice appears in the Newcastle Herald). I'm trying to find information on Cecelia Smith/Brindle as she is buried with my GGrandmother Eliza Smith.
