Hello List, As we have had various enquiries about our meetings and guest speakers, this is our Saturday meeting agenda with an approximation of times.......visitors are most welcome. Tea and coffee available, BYO lunch. Marmong Point Community Hall, George St, Marmong Point Saturday 20th June, 2009 10.00am - 12.30pm. Members and Visitors personal research time. Computers, Books and other society journals. 11.00am. Australian Research Discussion for those who wish to join in. 12.30 - 1.00pm. Meeting commences. General Business If there are any suggestions you might have, resources you have found and think members might be interested in, have your say in this segment. 1.00 - 1.30pm. Members and Visitors question time. Bring along your "brick walls" or research problems for discussion. Bring along the paperwork you do have. Other members may be able to help resolve your problems or assist in alternative areas of research. Come along and ask questions about what you want to know. 1.30 - 2.00pm. Member Involvement. Do you have an item of interest, family or heirloom to have a five min. discussion on? If so see President Jenny, we need your input for this section of the meeting. 2.00 - 3.00pm+. Guest Speaker. Our speaker for this month will be Gionni diGravio, University Archivist, Chair - Coal River Working Party, Cultural Collections. Gionni will be speaking about Articles held at the University Archives relating to Lake Macquarie. This will be followed by a time for Q& A's.
