Dear Listers I am trying to find the burial place of Catherine LILLEY (nee Carmody) who died in 1850. I have sent for the transcription of her death, but I don't hold out much hope of gleaning any more information from it. Catherine was living in Coppy Creek Cassilis in June 1849, but was in Maitland in September 1849 have "come down the country" as witness in a murder trial. This information was obtained from the Maitland Mercury & Hunter River General Advertiser on the NLA site. I don't know if Catherine went back to Cassilis or stayed in Maitland and died there.
