Themodern Borough of Islington comprises districts such as Islington itself,Finsbury, Canonbury, Barnsbury, Highbury, St. Luke's, Clerkenwell, Hollowayand parts of Highgate, Tufnell Park and Finsbury Park.... if you have any details about anyone with an Islington connection wholost his/her life as a result of conflict I would be most! grateful to hearfrom you.My aim is to try to embellish the biographies of each person with additionaldetail - especially media such as images. Reminiscences would also beextremely welcome. The aim is for the Book of Remembrance to go live laterthis year. Thank you very much in anticipation. Of course, I would, be happy to sharethe information I have gleaned from a number of sources, includingIslington's own archive.
