Dianna, Arthur Charles was a brother to John Alexander and Alfred James ROBERTS. All had land at Reedy Creek and Westbrook--probably inherited from their father, George William ROBERTS. His son Gordon Hamilton was well known to my family--he rode horses for my Father in the local show. I found a marriage for a Gordon Hamilton ROBERTS in 1936 to a Muriel Lindley--but I could not find a Muriel ROBERTS on subsequent electoral rolls. The name of Gordon's property was 'Bogleburn', Reedy Creek. However, on the 1976 roll, I noticed the names of 2 students with the address of 'Bogleburn', Reedy Creek. Could these be children [adult students] of Gordon ? HTH. Greg.

Hi Greg How are you? I hope you received my last email, I found Ruth and her nieces have been helping me with the family history for John Alexander, I was very happy to make contact with her. I also spoke to John Roberts (in Mitchell) wife John unfortunately passed away not so long ago as did Mary. About Gordon Hamilton I have his obituary (no children mentioned) and his wife was Juanita who he married in Malta during WW11. Thanks for letting me know about Alf and Violet having no children, that puts an end to my enquiries there. Do you happen to know if Gordon had any children. I have a photo of Arthur Charles Roberts. I'm just trying to find a photo of Sophia Roberts Walker and her sister Jane who apparently married a Alfred Parker but I can find no evidence of it at the moment.
