Hi John, Not sure ? if you have seen this snippet on the www, or if it helps ? The long-gone City Arms Hotel stood on the eastern corner of Hunter and Market streets from 1870. It was a popular rendezvous for the sporting fraternity and was rebuilt in 1905 as the Central Hotel. It later became the Hotel Hunter and is today unrecognisable in the Hunter Street Mall.
