Hi listers, Seeking information frpm the family of WILLIAM JOSEPH BRAY ( known in Australia as CHAPMAN 0 born 1858 Co. Cork, Ireland, , who settled in the Newcast, NSW, le area. His father was Joseph and he had a son COLIN COURT CHAPMAN MBE., and a Grabdson COLIN FIRTH CHAPMAN. My main interest os in JOSEPH BRAY, a soldier with the Royal Engineers, born England c1834. He was the father of WILLIAM JOSEPH and he deserted in Montreal and lived and died in Vermont, USA in 1896. I wish to know exactly where in England JOSEOH was born and when, plus his parents if known.
