    3. I also had a set of those and had similar problems and finally chucked them out -I don't believe they were any more informative than what is obtainable on the regular BDM register But maybe someone will be able to help TTFN On 20/02/2011, at 1:05 AM, "Tim Jones" <tc.jones@bigpond.com> wrote: > Dear listers > > > > I have the set of NSW KAWare disks produced by RMIT back in 1995 and have > had them since about 1998 but I have managed to scratch the Fed disk and can > no longer use it. 3. If these discs are like the Digger indices for Victoria the answer is (according to a mailing list correspondence some months ago) that they'll run with W7 32 bit but not with W7 64 bit. My Diggers certainly run perfectly with 32 bit. Apparently the Digger web site provides information as to how to overcome the 64 bit problem, so I'd suggest googling either for the company that produced your discs or for Digger/Macbeth Genealogical Software, to see whether their guidelines work in your case too. Good luck! Phoebe

    3. Dear Jan, They are handy for births post 1911. It depends on your computer bits whether they work or not.
