    3. Hi Tim, I have just changed to Windows 7 and mine don't work either. Cheers, Laraine -----Original Message----- From: aus-nsw-hunter-valley-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-nsw-hunter-valley-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Tim Jones Sent: Sunday, 20 February 2011 2:05 AM To: AUS-NSW-HUNTER-VALLEY@rootsweb.com Subject: [HV] RMIT NSW KAWare disks Dear listers I have the set of NSW KAWare disks produced by RMIT back in 1995 and have had them since about 1998 but I have managed to scratch the Fed disk and can no longer use it. And somehow the BIRTHS.DSP and BIRTHS.DPT files on the backup copy I made are corrupt and crash the app whenever I try to display a result set on screen. It is very frustrating. I would ask RMIT but I know RMIT not longer has anything to do with this project. I was wondering if anyone out there with a copy of the disks could possibly help me out by sending me a zipped copy of those two files. Grateful for your help Tim Jones Pyrmont NSW Tc.jones@bigpond.com (family roots in the Hunter Valley) Please remember to snip most of the earlier message before you post any reply...... 3. Apparently this site has a program which will run DOS programs on various Windows software. Haven't tried it myself. www.dosbox.com Wal On 20/02/2011 12:14 PM, laraine Goodworth wrote: > Hi Tim, > > I have just changed to Windows 7 and mine don't work either. > > Cheers, > Laraine > > -

    3. Dear Larine, They do if you have a 32 bit computer, but apparently will not go on a 64 bit computer. Regards, Bill > > I have just changed to Windows 7 and mine don't work either. > > Cheers, > Laraine

    3. Thanks listers One fine gentleman provided me with the help I needed. The problem is now resolved and it is working again. Thanks for all the information. It seems like my troubles are trivial to that which some of you are having with it. Tim Pyrmont
