    3. Ok thanks Deb that seems right. Do you know if the actual newspaper is on line for this index? 3. Jenny, It's a sad state of affairs... no the relevant newspapers for the indexes aren't online. It would be great if NLA's Australian Newspapers had it on their to do list (I checked it fairly recently). State Library QLD has the following on microfilm (& later years - search their catalogue online) but that's still a long way from you. Newcastle morning herald and miners' advocate Milsons Point, N.S.W. : W. & F. Pascoe. 1876 Available: Microform, level 3 (call no. MFS 0175 ) Apr. 4, 1876-Oct. 4, 1980 If you have a specific reference via the index, I wonder if the following might be the solution? Through the interlibrary service at your local library ie. Townsville. http://www.slq.qld.gov.au/services/loans/ill "...books or copy requests up to 50 pages..." There is an email address at the bottom of the page... it couldn't hurt to ask them if it includes a copy of an article from the microfilm in question. But Townsville Library should know what they can ask for, surely? Let me know how you get on if you go ahead. I'd be interested to know the results. :o) Deb. -----Original Message----- From: JENNY AND BUCK ROGERS Sent: Friday, April 08, 2011 1:47 PM To: aus-nsw-hunter-valley@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [HV] NLA on line resources Ok thanks Deb that seems right.
