Hi listers, Wondering if anyone with Newcastle knowledge knows what happened to the original Sydney Junction Hotel building on Beaumont Street (opposite the train station) & when? The Newcastle Herald Index includes an article title - "New Sydney Junction Hotel" , 1 Feb 1941, pg 12. .... so obviously before then, unless it was an article about knocking the old one down?
