    3. have you tried the ryerson index? there is a few francis jones listed. http://www.ryersonindex.com/  NLA Newspapers on line now intergrated into TROVE http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/result?q= also the Newcastle Herald which you will need to search for. Frank moved to Newcastle and gave his sisters address as next of Kin in WW1 and WW11 so assume he died in Newcastle as well If I cant find his death on the NSW web site for BDM no other indexes can help?
