Hi Jim You seem to know the area? Would you know if "The Beaches" [ I think a boarding house] was at the top of Zara St? This place and street name appear in a book.circ. before 1920 that belonged to my Gran Olive Lawson. I am led to believe that The Beaches Hotel now stands on the same site now at the top of the hill, and it is no longer called Zara St??
