Does any searcher have William Thomas Ingram born 1903, in their family records. He was a "farmer" at Millfield NSW, prior to 1947-8 and he married Mary Stokes 1935. Any news on William and Mary, most welcome. Regards, Jill Stratford, Vic

Hi everyone :-) I live outside of Newcastle and was wondering whether anyone knew of a place where I could purchase a microfiche reader and roughly how much they might cost? Thank you, any advice would be great, Tamara. -- Internal Virus Database is out-of-date. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Version: 7.1.371 / Virus Database: 267.14.15/223 - Release Date: 1/6/2006
I have recently received a comprehensive tree back to the 1500's (not from Jan Koperberg) which contains Wilson Perrett & Lily McMeniman (N.B. different spelling, as per my record & NSW BDM) marriage. No children listed in my sources. Hello Greg, Lillian Kate McMenamin had a child prior to her marriage to Wilson Perrett. The child's name was Walter born and died 1898 He is registered under Lily's maiden name. I guess I wondered if there were children born to her union with Wilson because I could only explore BDM up until 1905. Do you have later information? Thank you, Jen.
The Genealogical Society of NT had to offload a few recently, and it was decided the best place to do so was E-bay. So it may be that that's the best place for you to look. Would Greg Palmer, who contacted Jennifer Overend regarding the Perrett family of Gunnedah, originally from the Hunter Valley, please contact me. I have most of the lineage back to Gloucestershire in the 1500's. Jan Koperberg
I would like to make contact with descendants of the PERRETT, ROSS and O'LEARY families of Singleton and elsewhere. My maternal grandmother, Mary Maud PERRETT was the youngest daughter of George PERRETT and Amelia O'LEARY. Jan Koperberg jank@eftel.com.au
Hi Greg, Perhaps you didn't read the intro ... <snip> This list [Official P.O. Directory of NSW, 1878-1879] was transcribed a few years back, and has an entry for a M. GALLAGHER, Laborer, No. 1 Lane. This is a later directory than the Grevilles 1872 one, hence a different list of names (altho some are are the same). <snip> The list of Morpeth names was taken from the Directory referred to above [in brackets] which is not on-line as far as I know, and which is a different directory to the Greville's 1872 P.O. Directory. I have read through Directory for around the Raymond Terrace area while researching my family. Have fun Greg Palmer
