I posted several messages about this firstly in about Feb last year and again mid year . Search the HV lists archives and you will find the how to get details . Info can pop up from many places ......... BDM records, newspapers , Indexes such as the SAGs ( Soc of Aus Genealogists) AGCI series . Court records, NSW Police Gazettes ( 1862 -1933 ) Government Gazettes, Coronial records, , Pioneer Registers , Probate records, Bankrupcy, Divorce, Land Title records , Post Office Directories .     3. Hello All I'm new to the list - hoping to find contacts and info re the above families of the Hunter region. My big dead end; John CAMPBELL (born Paisley Scotland) m Catherine M HARRIGAN (born Stanhope NSW)in Branxton 1885. I cant work out who Catherine's parents were without getting 4 certs or transcriptions. A number of Catherine Harrigans were born between 1860-4 in the Hunter. Also cant find Catherine's death record from the parents listed on possible birth certs. The witnesses to this marriage were; Peter CAMPBELL and Annie HARRIGAN. Would love more info on Thomas and Peter Campbell also. They were both miners. CURRAN/FITZSIMMONS

I have a person who was a farmer in 1873 according to a death certificate. Apart from electoral rolls, are there any other ways I can locate/follow him and his family from 1849 until 1873? The only two firm records I have of them in Australia at this point. Thank you for any suggestions.
