Hi Everyone, I am a first time lister and would like to find info re my GG grandparents William and Elizabeth Williams whom I believe came from the Scone area. William born about 1815 in Somerset Eng. and came to Australia onboard the "Mangles 6" in 1833 as a convict, sentence to life. Elizabeth Sherry born 1826 in Fermanagh Ireland and she came to Australia in 1842 onboard the"Broom". William and Elizabeth married on the 21/7/1842 in Scone. On the 17/8/1849 Elizabeth gave birth to my great grandmother Louisa Williams who married to William Kiley in 1866 at Scone I am trying to find out when William and Elizabeth died but have no luck as Williams is such a common name.and I am hoping some other lister may also be researching this family. Hi List Is anyone researching this off shoot of my family tree ? : the family of Laurence MORAN and Joanna McMAHON (married 1853 Maitland ) Johanna b c 1836 came from County Clare, Ireland to NSW on the "Canton" in 1841 with her family Denis & Margaret McMAHON who settled in Millers Forest across the river from Raymond Terrace There was a family of Michael & Honora MORAN also from County Clare and also on that ship who also came to the Maitland area Their children did not include a Laurence, but their first son named his second son Lawrence - only hints of connection of the two Moran families. There was a convict Laurence MORAN (City of Edinburgh 1832) assigned to John Eales possibly this is the Laurence MORAN buried in Morpeth in 1874 aged 68 Perhaps all three Laurence Moran's are the same man? IF this is the husband of Johanna he was 30 years her senior Does anyone happen to have info on the convicts who served John Eales? Joanna MORAN died in 1917 registered East maitland but doesn't appear in the Maitland Cemeteries list so perhaps is buried in the Raymond Terrace area. Transcripts of death/marriage certs would show the story but even though theirs is probably an interesting story, this is only a side shoot and I prefer to spend available $ on my main family lines. The reason for my current interest in the Moran's in particular is that Michael and Honora Moran appear in the family tree of my cousin from another family line, and I wonder if Laurence could be the uncle of Michael. Any snippet of information welcome Happy ancestor hunting to all Glynis

Dear Lists Seeking anyone who knows of Barbara Haynes or descendants, or Kenneth Martyr or descendants. Kenneth and Barbara are the children of James Bremner Martyr and Ellen Davidson (Muswellbrook), grand daughter of Annie Bremner (Carcoar/Trunkey/Crookwell) and Henry Thaddeus Martyr. Barbara had 2 children (maybe a son and a daughter), Kenneth had 3 daughters. Kenneth or Barbara, or family, may be able to fill in some gaps in my family tree. Many thanks in advance. Are there any Klein or Kline researchers out there? I am interested in the descendants of Johannes Klein (1826-1907) who arrived on the /Parland /in 1849, and Balthaser Klein (1829-1893) who arrived on the /Cateaux Wattel/ in 1855.
