I am seeking information about any descendants of Lily Florence COUPER nee NIMMO - whose husband John Anderson Couper was born in Newcastle in c1890 - and also descendants of her brothers John Alfred, Andrew William, Mathew Clement and James NIMMO all born 1870s-1880s Their parents were Margaret SERVICE and Mathew Nimmo and they seem to have moved north to the Newcastle area from Sydney. Margaret Service was my grandmother's aunt. Looking through my grandmother's papers I have found information about her family in Ireland and Australia and photographs of connected relatives which may interest other descendants. They also have links to commercial map printers, ans to lots of interesting sites. If anyone is interested in Scotland this is also a good site. How good to have bricks and mortar still standing in the town, why not contact the current owners? One would think that a theatre restaurant would want to know some of the history of the place.
