John, I'm a member of a family history centre, so if you need anything looked up I go on a Sunday, we have magazines from various family history centres both Australia and overseas. Another good genie site is www.genealogylinks.net/ also try www.records.nsw.gov.au do a keyname search. You will also find alot of genealogy through google images, also google ozgenon-line cemeteries, find what state you want and cemindex.arkangles.com/ If that link doesn't work, just google Australian cemetery index, and find the addy with that in its address. I have no connection with the King family but it would be interesting to know if the ones with the 32 children are a connection of the King family of Goonoo Goonoo station near Tamworth NSW. They are descendants of Philip Gidley King. Marie

Sean, Now that my interest has been pricked with this discussion of 32 children, would you mind posting the list of children and their births? And those that died as youngsters? How far afield has this family spread now? There must be an absolutely huge number of cousins out there for you? I have no KING interest, just curious after following this thread today. Hi Could someone who is familiar with Cessnock please let me know if the house on the corner of McGrane Street, Cessnock is still there. I believe it was called 'Glenmore', and at one time belonged to a doctor and used as a private hospital, and afterwards was let for residential purposes. Hi John A very interesting problem!! Just a thought, when I was going through the NSW BDM for my WHEATLEYs I found 12 children with the right Father and Mother. However on further checking I noticed that half were born in Redfern or there abouts and the others in the North Sydney area. As my mob came from North Sydney I concluded that I was looking at two entirely different families. Any chance that you are having the same problem?? Gary in Sydney
