Hi again, Sorry for all the questions.I have 2 JAMES KANE/CANE convicts -one of which could be mine.James Kane 1832/3, JAMES CANE 1834.Taken from Cork to Pt.Jackson.My question.When a convict came over from Ireland-did they give parents names etc.?One was given a LIFE term.How long is that? JAMES was supposed to have married in Sydney 1837.The other one was given 7 years. Can anybody help with these questions.Thanking you in advance as all help appreciated greatly...Lesley
