I'm trying to work out the ancestry of the Neich's of Pitt Town. A John Neich married / de facto Frances Lowe (cant find registration and can't find his parentage) Children John and Alexander. Frances Lowe apparently had 2 brothers with same names. If we go down the line there is a Leon Gallaher. It is possible that John Neich's parents (another de facto liaison) are Emanuel Neich and Mary Cupitt who apparently was a barmaid at the pub "A Bird in the Hand" (appropriate since Emanuel had 2 wives also Mary and between the 3 women, about 30 children). I would love to be able to prove the liaison between Emanuel and Mary Cupitt, also the children they had. Does the pub still exist? Does anyone know these families to shed more light on the whole thing? A John and Alexander Neich married 2 Clark sisters of Pitt Town. Kind regards Lina
