Hi Phillip and Robert, I have interest in HANCOCK too - the family of John HANCOCK and Caroline REEVES who married in 1849 in Paterson. Most of their children were born in Dungog. Their son John Henry HANCOCK married Maria GLASBY and they moved to Auckland NZ. Any connection? Jan, I have a john HANCOCK born 1861. Parents were George HANCOCK and Catherine WATTS. George's parents were Thomas and Mary (nee Floyd) HANCOCK. Thomas and Mary were my g.grandparents.
