Phillip, Your reply is very exciting. Yes the family is Thomas Raisbeck and Elizabeth Bowen, and I have noted Harold Raisbeck and Agnes Ballentine. I would love to get a copy of the Raisbeck family research. I also have copy of a subdivision map of the "Farmborough". which was subdivided by William Bowen in 1839, part of 3 grants received from 1835, and would copy same with family group sheets known if interested. All information is kept in arch files, as I have not mastered the family tree software yet, so will need a snail mail address to send the information. When William Bowen died, Thomas Raisbeck and Elizabeth Bowen inherited the land, as Elizabeth's brother died young and unmarried. The land was sold to Dominick Gillespie - g uncle of Bridget Sweeney/Freel/Raisbeck, Michael Healy husband to Bridget Gillespie - 2nd cousin to Bridget, John Sweeney - brother to Bridget Sweeney, Bryan Egan, husband to Ann Gillespie - 2nd cousin to Bridget Sweeney and much more. Most purchases are connected to the family. I also am in contact with Alan Raisbeck from Macarthur, and will copy him in this email, together with my cousins, who have been working with me over the past 20 or so years.. Looking forward to hearing from you again.
