I am researching Mahoneys from Richmond but my inerest in the Maitland area is because: I have a photo, who I am sure is my great great grandfather, Thomas Boyle and his wife Mary Ann and the photographic studio is in West Maitland. From dating the photo it appears to be around 1880. The Studio is STAMP BROS, High St West Maitland. I have since found out that Thomas's real father died at 30 yrs at Richmond but the mother married James Mahoney from Windsor in 1863 and then moved to Qld about 1864. James Mahoney was from Tipperary Ireland. I wondered why Thomas Boyle, who lived in Qld by then, was in West Maitland in 1880s.
