Hi Listers, I have a new name in my family tree - John Von Maugerhauseen WEISS came free on "John Bull" in 1821 and was Superintendent of Government Boats for several years. He was a missionary to Tonga for 12 months and then he was a haberdasher in George Street Sydney for a time, then in the 1840 in Newcastle. He married twice - Mary Ryan and Elizabeth Wilshire Hewlett One of his sons, Frederick was a young midshipman on the ill fated DUNBAR. Any connections? Cheers, Bev
