I have a Robert Ridge born 1819 Sackville Reach, he married Sarah Johnston, born 1822 ? - Robert's parent's were Richard RIDGE and Mary FORSTER / FORRESTER - married 1809 Windsor Sarah's parent's were John JOHNSTON and Mary MOORE - married 1811 Sydney Can anyone advise me if they are researching this family, and especially if any of them were transported. Hi Alan, No connections ... but according to a "Hawkesbury Journey" [D.G. Bowd], Richard RIDGE arrived per "Atlantic" 1791, m. Margaret FORRESTER in 1809, and had twelve children. By 1828, had 270 acres and lived at Portland Head. Children shown in the 1828 Census include : Thomas (17), Richard (15), John (13), Isabella (11), Robert (9), Martha (7), William (2) and Mary Ann (3 months). Hope this helps a little ....
