Dear Listers, As if I haven't got enough to do with my time I have decided to try and gather names of people who were buried by my gggrandfather and his sons, mentioned above. The firm started abt 1850 at South Head Rd, then Oxford Street and also Newtown, and continued in the family until 1975. It is still an operating company but is now owned by an American firm of undertakers. Some years ago I attempted to find some records for the firm but were told that they had all been taken to the tip when new management took over. If you have anyone buried by my family I would love to hear from you and hopefully I can build up a database which would be available to all. Some burials would have been performed by my Dad's grndfather Henry and also by his gtuncle William who died in 1900.
