John married Sarah Davis, daughter of Joseph Davis and Elizabeth Simpson, on 9 Sep 1858 in St John's CE, Wilberforce, NSW, AUS. Sarah was born on 9 Apr 1838 in Kurrajong, NSW, AUS, died on 3 Jul 1898 in Wilberforce, NSW, AUS. Children from this marriage were: i. Amos Arthur Green was born on 3 Jan 1861 in Wilberforce, NSW, AUS. ii. Joseph William Green was born on 4 Sep 1863 in Wilberforce, NSW, AUS. iii. George Lewis Green was born on 16 May 1865 in Windsor, NSW, AUS.1 iv. Clara May Green was born on 5 Aug 1867 in Registration, Windsor, NSW, AUS. v. Ernest Fitzwilliam Green was born on 8 May 1870 in Windsor, NSW, AUS. vi. John Henry Green was born about 1872 in Registration, Windsor, NSW, AUS,. vii.
