I have just joined this network and am researching the history of my forebear, JAMES THOMAS JUCHAU, who came to Australia as a young convict aged 15. I know that in 1835, he gained his ticket of leave and in 1837, he gained his ticket of freedom. In particular, I am seeking to trace any information about his movements and activities in the following periods: 1833 - during his residence and "indenture" at Glendon Singleton, and then to Scone in 1840 and thereafter. Any information concerning his activities and associations would be much appreciated. Roger Juchau Ph: (02)9852 4202 (w) (02) 9818 5926 (h) Fax: (02) 9852 4185
