Hi Listers! I was wondering if anyone, in the course of their family history research, has come across material (published or unpublished) relating to the experiences of children growing up in Newcastle district during the war years, 1914-18. By "children" I mean from the very young up to the (mid) teens. The kind of information I'm looking for could include diaries/journals, manuscripts (memoirs, reminiscences), school magazines, photographs, oral histories, ect. In other words, absolutely anything which may shed some light upon children and their "homefront" experiences. Thank you, Sephi Kemp :o) pkemp@kooee.com.au
