    3. Hello Lorna. Have you tried searching the NSW Birth Death and Marriages indexes on-line under each of those possible surnames? It is a long-winded process, as they only permit a 10-year search at a time; but if you persevere you never know what you might find. (Sorry, I don't have the URL handy -- try a google search and you should get it quickly).
