Place Name : Gresford Patrick FLYNN, my 3rd g-grandfather I know little about Patrick at this stage, other than some scant details from his marriage entry. In August 1840, he was a batchelor, parish of Gresford, who married at Oakville (parish), Whittingham (circuit), Wollombi (district) Caroline STONE, spinster. Witnesses were Thomas BAYLEY (or BAGLEY) and Johanna MASON, both of Paterson. Five children : William (1842), John (1843), Maria (1845), Clara (1847) and Caroline (1849). On daughter Clara's baptism entry, his place of abode is shown as Narrowgut. No Quality or Profession listed. Am currently waiting on some certificates which may, or may not, shed further light on this couple. Regards, Diane
