    3. Hi Rod, Many thanks for the info about poor Mr Drinkwater - it's great to have the exact date of death. According to the BDMs Edward Joseph DRINKWATER died at Windsor in 1892 so this is probably the same person. Good to see that the community rallied to help his poor widow and children :-) I'll have a look for a death notice in the Sydney papers now that I've got a death date - I could get lucky - but I think I will have to bite the bullet and get a transcription of his marriage certificate to find out his parents.
