Re the enquiry re the name BUTTER: I believe a man named BUTTERS was licensee of the Hawkesbury River Hotel at Brooklyn at some stage. I remember seeing an old postcard with that name painted on the outside of the hotel, which later became the Anglers Rest Hotel. Sorry, I can't find the reference now, but think it was probably around the 1920s, but could be wrong about the date. Best wishes, Gwen
