Hello fellow researchers and others with an interest in history: I am researching my family history, which has taken me back to George Stanford, Farmer of North Richmond (born Richmond 1829) and his wife, Eliza Stanford (nee Shepherd), born Windsor District 1845. Also, Eliza's parents, John Shepherd (also known as "Flemings Jack") , who was transported from Ireland on the Lord Meville from Dublin, Ireland in 1830. He was assigned to Joseph Fleming, a free settler at Wilberforce. He married Amelia Parker (born 25 Sept 1828 at Wilberforce in 1845 at St Johns Chapel, Wilberforce. Also Amelia Parkers parents, Daniel Packer and Elizabeth Rebecca Furness, who married 3 July 1827 at Wilberforce Seeking to exchange any information with other interested parties, and to obtain any information.
