Dear listers, What sad news. Nick was an old friend for many of us. Nick helped start me off on the wonderful journey of discovering local history and family research nearly twenty four years ago Without his encouragement and enthusiasm I would be stuck behind a desk, bean counting. I still use Nick's books for reference, and checking that I haven't overlooked any sources. May he be welcomed into the arms of his ancestors with much love. It is indeed our loss that he has gone.
