In the Concord neighbourhood in the 1830s Emmanuel Neich opened the Bath Arms of the corner of Burwood Road and Parramatta Road. The inn was a stagecoach stop and did well with Neich running it until 1893. It continues to operate. I have copies of photos taken of the inn about 1880 and 1890. There is lots of info on Neich.
