Hi List, I am searching for information on James Robert Wooderson who came to Australia after 1861 (found marriage details in England Dec 1861 to person unknown) and he then married Margaret Emma Cavander in January,1868 in Newcastle. According to 1861 Census he was in the Royal Navy in Britain. I have not been able to locate details of him arriving in Australia but have found the above marriage and also found details of the birth of their children. The Wooderson family appears to have lived around the Newcastle, Wallsend, Scone area. It looks like James's father Henry along with Jame's siblings came to Australia sometime in the 1860's. I would appreciate any suggestions as to where to look for further information on this family. Many thanks Marie
