Hi Michelle, I also have an old photo on 'milk' glass. I spoke recently to a gent in Melbourne (where I live) who said he could scan it and make a digital copy. I'm not sure what sort of restoration you're needing (mine is broken in three pieces and would be taped together), but I assume if whoever you take it to could make a digital copy they could also do restoration work just as they would on old (normal) photographs. Just make sure that they are reputable and have examples of their work on show. Sorry I can't help with the names, but good luck with your research.
