Hi I am trying to find out anything I can about William Bennett and William Lingard. They both arrived on the Speke 2 in 1826 after being sentenced to life transportation for highway robbery. They were convicted at Derby in the same year.I am sure that Bennett ended up in your area but Lingard seems to have disappeared.If anyone can help out I would be grateful.
