    3. I would be interested in knowing as well, please - although the one I need is for a person who died in 1907. It involved a couple of very large properties, one property went to half of the kids and the other to the remainder and they were managed with delegates from either side, plus the wife/ mother was involved, until she died in 1928. During this time two daughters, one from each group, sold out their share to other siblings, but by 1928, when the properties were sold - bad luck or bad management (??) - saw a shortfall of a couple of thousand pounds ( mortgaged ?). I don't know if the sale in 1928 occurred because of the death of the wife and the winding up of the estates from the original husband's will or just that by this time, they were so in debt that they couldn't continue. The deceased estate files on the NSW State Records site ( which they say sometimes includes a copy of the will) http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/indexes/searchform.aspx?id=15 has only been indexed to c May 1907 as yet and my chap died in September of that year. Is there any way of finding out if there was a file for him ??
