James b 1847 Kurrajong. Notes: Barney and his father William were two of a group of convicts convicted of manslaughter on 17-3-1836 at Tipperary Assizes and sentenced to life. After assignment to Major Macarthur at Camden, Barney came to the Windsor district and was allowed to remain by the Parramatta Bench per ticket of leave. His wife's relatives began arriving in the Windsor district in 1840 including Bridget Hennessy nee Newman. (616)
