Hawkesbury Advocate, Friday, March 16, 1900 (page 4) WILBERFORCE (From Our Own Correspondent) Miss E. Lockart is home from Sydney on a fortnight's holidays. Miss Alice Dunstan has just returned, after a month's holidays with her mother at Gerringong. Miss Ada Bowd has been spending a few days with Mrs. Hazelwook at Granville. Mrs. Geo. Nicholls is spending a few weeks with her sister (Mrs. H. Buttsworth) at Gerringong. The parishioners of Wilberforce presented Rev. T. H. Taylor with a travelling bag a few weeks ago. Mrs. Josiah Buttsworth, who has been very ill for some months, is spending a couple of months at Manly. Mr. Geo. Johnston has been very busy during the week drawing in maize, and getting it ready for market. Some of the suppliers are going to give up taking milk to the local creamery, on account of the low price given. A concert in connection with St. John's C. of E. restoration fund, is being arranged to take place in Easter week. The friends of Mrs. P. Daley will be sorry to hear that she has been very ill. Dr. Dibson has been in attendance. We are pleased to see that Mr. Geo. Buttsworth (who had his leg broken some weeks ago) is able to get about again. Mr. W. Robinson, of the Settlement, is in camp at Kensington, and will probably leave for South Africa with the next contingent. Mr. C. Greentree has got six months leave from his selection. He, with his good wife, have moved into Wilberforce. Charlie has not been having the best of health lately, and we hope the change will do him good. [Image available]
