Dear Judy, I think you would really need to know exactly where the land was. On the original maps which are held by State Records KINGSWOOD the name of the person originally granted the land appears on the map along with the size of the land. Many of these have been put on CD. Try www.records.nsw.gov.au where I think there might be an Archives in Brief (information sheet) on the subject.
