    3. Dear Patricia Thank you for responding to my email. I'm very interested in the death record you have indicated for Michael Moran 1853. I will follow this up as I am very interested in discovering who Patrick Moran's parents were, as I cannot find a plausible death certificate for him and I am hoping that finding out who he was and where he came from may help me. I do have a Michael Moran from the 1841 census at Pitt Town who I have suspected may be Patrick's father but have not been able to prove it. Can you tell me Patricia as I am new to the list whether it is protocol to reply directly to you or to the list? Replies to either are acceptable Rhonda, I usually use reply when responding to an enquiry to show the List someone has replied or found the information required, after that if further research is indicated I use Reply All to put the person in my address book then send messages privately.
