I am aware of some novels set in these towns but would like the names of non fiction books which tell the actual history. I believe that Kate Grenville has also written about her ancestor Samuel Wiseman and wonder just how much near the truth it is. I am aware that it is a novel but is it near the truth? Can someone please help with suggestions of good reading matter concerning that area.
