Hi Heather Page 280 of the JURD book, by Peter Stewart, states: 2. Henry WALKER was born on 21 July 1842 at the Macdonald River. He married Annie CROSS at Bundarra on 18 January 1871. Annie was in fact Henry's cousin, being the illegimate daughter of his uncle, Richard JURD and Margaret BAILEY. Richard was still married to Johanna SHEEHY when Annie was born on 29 January 1846. She was baptised on 22 February the same year. Her mother, Margaret BAILEY later married John Thomas CROSS. As John's stepdaughter she used the name of 'CROSS'. Annie never used her natural father's surname of JURD. Margaret BAILEY is covered on page 6 of Hawkesbury Family History Group, Hawkesbury Pioneer Register - Vol 1, (1994).
