    3. Hi Norma, Yes, it's a worry. There are my ancestors Edward Reilly and his wife Eleanor nee Hearne buried there as well as Ann Daniel nee Sullivan and some of her children, a 5 week old Andrew Edward Thomas Sullivan in 1873 without a headstone and other Hearne/Stewart relatives. It must have been a beautiful building in its day. JOSEPHS CHURCH AND CEMETERY In 1983 my Grandmother wrote some reminiscences for me. In part of it she says - "Across the valley there stood - and still stands to-day - an old Catholic Church beautifully built of local stone. It lost its roof in a bush-fire. Before losing its roof a visiting priest would from time to time come to celebrate mass there for the catholic community. My sister Queenie and I watched with dismay as the roof fiercely burned away. Within its grounds are a few headstones where once some few Catholics were buried. One well known to me was my uncle Frank Hearne" A visit to St Albans won't be the same if it disappears.
